If your DSL connection goes out make sure that your Local Area Connection(LAN) is not disabled. To check this simply go to "START" --> "Control Panel" --> "Network Connections".
Once on the network connections page you will see the Local Area Connection icon. Double click on it and the status box will appear.
In the status box it will show the status of the connection, that screen is where it will show enabled or disabled. Close the Local Area Connection status box and right click on the Local Area Connection icon. Choose the enable option. Enabling the device will allow it to acquire the address you need to get back online.
*Note:This may not always be the problem. Be sure to check the other DSL support solutions, or call in for Technical Support.
